How to get there
Over Haddon is just off the B5055, 2 miles from Bakewell and 10 miles from Buxton. There are railway stations at Chesterfield, Sheffield, Buxton and Matlock, all with buses to Bakewell. There are a few buses from Bakewell to Over Haddon, I can also provide a list of Bakewell taxis if timings are not convenient. The nearest airports are Manchester and East Midlands. The cottage has its own off road parking space.

Getting around
The historic houses of Haddon and Chatsworth & the market town of Bakewell can be visited on foot, by bike or by car. One of the pleasures of Daleside is that many walks can be made straight from the house.
