It is possible to come without car (from Paris for example) by train and enjoy the house and the city (you can go by train to Tours or Saint-Aignan, in Chenonceaux so that is 8 km only). There are all nearby shops and services and a large supermarket Super U 500m from the house) .The bathing in the river Cher with the summer beach or the nautical center are 10 -15mn walk. It is preferable to have a car if we want to fully enjoy the beauty of the region.
