The public bus service is the best way to reach the property from Heraklio Airport or Chania Airport. A bus trip from Heraklio takes about 90 minutes and from Chania about 1 hour. The ticket costs roughly €8 per person, one way. You can also take a taxi from the airport to the apartment – the ride would take about 1 hour. Tell the driver to drop you off outside Fortezza Hotel. In case you are renting a car, note that it’s not possible to park right outside the apartment (pedestrian zone).
