How to get there

Monte Compatri is well connected both to Rome and to the rest of the province, as well as to the major motorway routes both south (Naples) and north (Florence). To reach Monte Compatri by car from Rome, follow the GRA (southern trunk), following the signs for Naples. After the toll booth of Roma Sud exit at Monte Porzio Catone and go up towards Monte Compatri which is about 4 km from the motorway exit. Alternatively you can take the SS Tuscolana and, after passing through some places (Vermicino, Frascati, Monte Porzio Catone), you can reach Monte Compatri in a few minutes. For connections with public transport you can use the Co.Tral coach services (departures from the Roma Anagnina terminal, every 30 minutes, from 5.00 to 22.50). From a few months we have to 9 km the Metro station 'C' line S.Giovanni / Pantano Monte Compatri where in S. Giovanni connects with the Metro 'A', from the Pantano / Monte Compatri Station there is a shuttle to reach the country. Or you can use the train connections from Rome Termini station on the Rome-Velletri line (nearest stations Frascati and Colle Mattia). If you come by car, do not use the navigator by entering the name of the Via Colonna, but first reach the country, coming from Rome is the first street on the left Viale Europa and immediately left and Via Colonna, if you come from Florence Naples with San Cesario exit, once you reach the village, pass the Fontana with the Angel and take the first right that is Viale Europa and then Via Colonna.
