How to get there

There are actually several ways to get to The Road to Moab. If arriving by plane, you have several options - Grand Junction about 2 hours away; Salt Lake City (SLC) about 3.5 hours; and Denver about 4.5 hours. Our regional airport offers shuttles from SLC, as well. Flying into Albuquerque, Las Vegas or Phoenix and making the drive is also an option.

The drive through the Wasatch Mountains from SLC is beautiful. If you are coming by way of Denver, then you should stop by the Colorado National Monument in Grand Junction. It is truly awe-inspiring!

We highly recommend a stop at Mesa Verde, CO, whether you do it on your drive in from Albuquerque or if you make a side trip during your stay with us in Moab. Heck, it is only 2.5 hours away from our condo and it has some of the most well-preserved cave dwellings and petroglyphs in the west.

Las Vegas is a great jump-off point, too, where you would pass by Bryce and Zion, two must-see National Parks.

Coming from Phoenix requires you to stop in Wapatki National Monument and drive through Monument Valley to get to Moab.

No matter the route you choose, The Road to Moab is worth the journey.
