How to get there
If you would like to stop for groceries before your arrival, the Kaufland store in Caransebes or the Carrefour store, also in Caransebes would be your best bet. However if you need eggs or milk or any such thing there are village stores just a kilometer down the road from the cabin in Borlova that are very convenient.
From Caransebes Train Station you can take a taxi, and just instruct the taxi driver to take you to the Cabana Muntele Mic (The Little Mountain Cabin) which is approx 1 kilometer past Borlova.

Getting around
We recommend renting a car if you fly in to Romania. However we have had guests that arrived with a taxi and never left during their whole stay. So it is possible. But there are so many things to see and do, that we think you would enjoy having a car. :)
