How to get there
By Metro
You will get off in "Monastiraki station" and then you will change with the green line number 1, direction to Kifissia. Then you will get off in "Agios Nikolaos station". From "Agios Nikolaos" you will walk upwards for about 8 minutes towards Patision street and Platia Amerikis area to reach Kyprou street and my apartment. If you have many luggages I would recommend to take a taxi from the metro station.
By Bus
Get the express bus X95 from the airport and get off at "Syntagma square". From there you will have to get a taxi. it will cost you around 7-10 euros.
By Taxi
You can get a Taxi from the airport. It will cost you around 40€.
*The first metro train leaves from the airport at 06:30 P.M and the last at 23:30 A.M. The express buses operate 24h a day.

Getting around
The area is multicultural in an urban setting. You are in an historic Athenian neighbourhood that has many theatres, shops, cinemas, restaurants and all the essentials you might need for your stay. Patission avenue (100m from the apartment) is one of the best streets in Athens for shopping connecting Omonia square with the northern suburbs. In walking distance you can find "Fokionos Negri", a lovely pedestrian street that has many bars, restaurants and cafeterias. You can also walk from the corner of Patission and Kyprou streets to downtown Athens. Its a nice walk and not very long. If you don't want to walk, you can get the bus (Kalifrona stop) or the metro (Agios Nikolaos station) or a taxi.
