How to get there
By air - There are flights from the UK to the airport of Salzburg in Austria (Ryanair, BA, Easyjet, Jet2, Monarch, Airberlin) an hour and a half drive from Chalet Gove, the journey for the most part being motorway.
With longer transfers of 2 to 4 hours we can also be reached from Vienna, Linz, Graz, Innsbruck and Munich airports.

By car - Although we are in a village up a mountain valley, the roads to us are excellent , so driving to us is definitely an option for anyone that wants the freedom to explore all the wonderful areas in the Lungau region and beyond.
We are approximately 788 miles / 1240 km from Calais, a journey time of about 12 hours using the French, German and Austrian motorways (note Tolls apply on French and Austrian motorways).

There is a bus service to our village. The nearest train station is Tamsweg. We are easy to drive to and parking is available and driving to us will give you complete freedom to travel around the area. Parking everywhere is free (limited to 2 hours in the town centre).
