How to get there
We'll send you a map on how to find the cave. But simply put - take the motorway from the Airport (Granada, Almeria, Murcia, Alicante or Malaga) then the A92N - leave the Motorway at the Baza Hospital Junction. At the roundabout with a big statue, take the small exit and almost immediately turn right. Follow this road till you pass a river ford (usually dry), take the right fork up a steep hill. Follow the road for a further kilometre, as you descend you'll see Cuevas Aljatib at the end of the road, take a sign posted left on a gravel track. Follow this for about 300m and you'll see Cuevas del Cipres on the right.

Getting around
You will need a car! The cave is in the countryside and is very peaceful - but it means you need transport to get around, the local taxis will come out and are very reasonably priced as we are only a couple of kms from the town centre - so you can enjoy a night of tapas without worrying about drink driving - but generally to visit the lake, the mountains etc its going to be in a car.
