GPS is not common as yet in Curacao. The way from Hato airport to Jan Thiel is not very complicated, but when you are there for the first time, I would advise take a cab with all your luggage, is this the best way. You can get your first impressions of the Island in so to say, an easy modus.
The elegant villa Curoyal is very close to everything you need, on walking-distance, so you could just stay overthere and be happy without a car. Not far away is a busstop, the bus can bring you to town. However I would advise to rent a car. There are carrentals not far away from CUROYAL and if you like, I can connect you with a good and fair rentalcompany.
And our managers are quite willing to advise you for renting a car.
It is also possible that our managers will pick you up. For larger groups then 4, they need 2 cars. If you are interested in this, pls., indicate this to us. Of course you should pay them a fee. Anyway, we are at yr service.
