If youre coming on your own, here are some useful tipsGenerally, if you travel by car, bus or train, you need to reach Split or Makarska in central Dalmatia, where you can take a ferry or catamaran to Supetar (or Sumartin if you arrive from Makarska).If you go by plane, the closest local and international airports are Split, Zadar and Dubrovnik airport, and then you need to take a local bus, rent a car, or take a taxi to Brac. There is also airport on island Brac, (www.airport-brac.hr) equipped for acceptance and dispatching of a smaller commercial aircraft up to 100 seats during the day light and night. It is open all year long. Charter flights operate only during the summer season. Public transportation is not organised, but the taxi service is available during airport opening hours.Milna is only 18km from Supetar and you can reach it by local road in case you have a car (there are numerous indications from the Supetar harbour) or by bus. We be happy to help you organise a car transportation from Supetar or Sumartin to Milna, or from the Split airport. Please conatct us prior to your arrival.In any case, you are most likely to have a sea journey to Brac island.
