How to get there
From Maputo take the EN1 road towards Xai Xai. Follow EN1 for about 450km past Macia, Xai Xai, Quisico & Inharrime Lakes and at the small town of Lindela turn right towards Inhambane City 30km further. From Inhambane follow signs to Tofo for 20km. Just before Tofo follow Tofinho Beach Cottages signs to the right (south) for 1,5km to cottages. Tofo is reachable by tar road with a normal car yet the 4×4 enthusiast has ample opportunity to explore the area.The last 1,5km to cottages is a gravel road.

Getting around
We will arrange to collect you free of charge with a chapa (local taxi) from the airport if you booked at one of our cottages. If required they will stop on the way at recommended places for you to do your shopping, before dropping you off. At an additional fee, the chapa can take you to other areas close by or to Inhambane town.
