Reach Cortona by TrainIs possible to reach Cortona by trains very easy from the most tourist places like ROME, PISA, VENICE all you have to do is to get the the line Florence – Rome and stop at station of “Cortona-Camucia” station which is the closest to Cortona and but is served only by slow trains called “Regionali”,or the other train station of Terontola served by faster trains called “IR” Intercity. Boths stations are connected to Cortona by bus. The Terontola station is 10 km from Cortona and the Camucia station is 4 km from Cortona. The train schedules can be obtained from the official timetable of the “Treni Italia” website.Cortona by Bus from trains station of Camucia and TerontolaJust outside of the trains station of Camucia on your left you will see a bench covered where to take a bus for Cortona centre. Usually buses fall every half hours. The same from Terontola station where the bus stops is in front of the trains stations about 15 meter at your left. See the OFFICIAL TIME SCHEDULE and click the number buses references LFSU4 from the list. (last bus to Cortona is at 8pm. On Sunday is at 07.10pm)Remember is important to buy befor you're tickets to go.
