Suggested airports: Florence (1hour and a half drive to the villa) Pisa (2hours drive to the villa).
Car hire available from europcar or directly at Pisa and Florence airports.A car is essential to best enjoy Tuscany and the Chianti hills without wasting time!
It is advisable not to rent a sport car as the way to the villa and many nice streets in the Chianti surroundings are unpaved!
Moreover the Chianti hills are not served by train and not very well at all by busses!
