How to get there
We're in the north of Bali, which is much quieter and less congested than the south. However, it takes about 3 hours from the airport even though it's only 100km as the roads are relatively narrow and cross a range of hills (that are beautiful); there are many places to stop and eat/take photographs along the way.

Getting around
We recommend using local drivers. Although normal car hire is available at the airport, and we can suggest a good company, you would need an International Drivers Licence. The driving here is "different" and the locals are more attuned to the idiosyncrasies! They charge very reasonable rates. We can arrange transport and make no extra profit for this service.
