How to get there
Geographically, we are directly southof Toulouse, and about 15k from the Spanish border as the crow flies.
Our nearest airports are Toulouse (1h30) Carcassonne and Lourdes (both 2h), although some people come from Barcelona, Girona or Bordeaux/Bergerac.
By car we are 1h from the A 64 Touluse-Bayonne autoroute, and our nearest town is St Girons, 20 k away. Detailed directions will be sent on booking.
Public transport in the area is very limited and confined to the valley bottoms, so a car is essential.

Getting around
Despite its secluded location, we are only 30mins drive from St Girons and therefore all the major routes connecting with all the historical/cultural attractions that the Midi-Pyrenees has to offer. Leaving the the Garbet (valley of the Montreurs d'Ours) between Oust and Ercé, you follow a lane which twists and turns among woods and flowers, always climbing, to its end, and there is Miramont, a little paradise on earth overlooking the Bassin d'Oust. Formerly devoted to agriculture, the hamlet consists today of eleven pretty, well renovated barns and houses, where you will be sure of peace and quiet.
