Wizzair fly from Luton airport, Adria fly from Mancester and Heathrow
Easyjet fly from Stanstead airport both to ljubljana airport. The journey from the airport is a mix of motorway and beautiful countryside.

You can also fly with ryanair to Graz or Klangenfurt in Austria , Treiste on the Itanian /Slovenian border or Zargreb in croatia.

To get the most from your holiday a car is advisable, you could come by ferry and see a bit of europe on route. A one night stopover in the east of Germany makes a comfortable trip.
