The best way to get smoothly to the villa is to type our geographical coordinates ( 43° 21’ 28” N - 11° 22’ 56” E ) into the GPS of your car.

From Florence (Firenze)

1.From the Autostrada A1 (green signs) FIRENZE – ROMA, take the exit FIRENZE IMPRUNETA and follow the blue signs for SIENA,

2.Drive for about 56km on the highway FIRENZE – SIENA, exit at SIENA NORD,

3.At the roundabout at the end of the exit ramp take the second exit following the signs to CENTRO and STAZIONE FERROVIARIA (the Ferroviaria train station),

4.Drive until you find another roundabout, take the second right then at the next roundabout take the first exit toward the train station,

5.Pass the train station on your left in the direction of AREZZO and at the next roundabout take the second exit,

6.At the following roundabout take the second exit,

7.At the next roundabout take the third exit passing under a bridge in the direction of MONTEVARCHI (SS 408) and PONTIGNANO,

8.After 4 km you will see a sign for PONTE A BOZZONE. You will pass a modern red brick church on the left. Turn left after about 1km onto an unsurfaced road signposted VIA A. MARI.

9.This road passes through a wood then is lined with cypress trees, continue straight (passing a stones walled house on the left), at the end of a tunnel of Holm Oaks you are at the Villa gates where you’ll find a Bell on the right pillar..

N.B. If you reach PIANELLA you have gone too far! The turning for the Villa is just after PONTE A BOZZONE.

From Rome (Roma)

1.Take the Autostrada A1 (green signs) ROMA – FIRENZE, take the exit VALDICHIANA,

2.After the toll turn right and go on for about half a kilometre until the second fork, always follow the blue signs for SIENA,

3.Drive for about 50km and arrive at SIENA,

4.Continue straight on the main road passing through a series of 3 roundabouts.

5.Get into the 4th roundabout passing under a big arches bridge in the direction of FIRENZE,

6.At the 5th roundabout take the first exit in direction of MONTEVARCHI (SP 408) and PONTIGNANO
