From South via M4 (circa 2hrs 40 min)

 Leave M4 at J24 take A449 & A40 (or J25 and the A4042) to Abergavenny

 At Roundabout just before Abergavenny town centre take A465 (2nd exit) signposted

Merthyr Tydfil

 Exit via slip road after ¾ mile following A4143 (signposted Superstore) passing Waitrose

and over two roundabouts following A4143

 At roundabout with A40 take 1st exit signposted Brecon A40

 Beyond Crickhowell fork right onto A479 then A470 to Builth Wells

 Continue on A470 to Rhayder & Llangurig

 At roundabout take first exit signposted A44 to Aberystwyth

 Before Aberystwyth take A4159 to Bow Street

 Turn right onto A487 towards Machynlleth

 In Talybont pass pubs, continue uphill past garage, then opposite the phone box turn left

into lane between cottages, go straight over at first junction and follow for ½ mile or so.

Turn right at T junction down hill. Primrose cottage is last past the row of cottages on left.

From Midlands via M6

 Take M6/ M54 to Telford.

 Take A5, round Shrewsbury.

 Take A458 to Welshpool then continue to A470 at Mallwyd.

 Continue on A470 / A489 through Machynlleth.

 Turn left at clock tower on A487 for 9 miles to Tre Taliesin.

 At the end of the village fork right down lane marked with derestriction signs then follow

lane for ½ mile or so and up hill to the Cottage, which is the first house on your right.
