If you're traveling from Cape Town, it's easy: before you reach Hermanus,

about 3 km out of town, there is a large intersection with traffic lights.

On your left, you'll see a Great Wall. That 's the Hemel-en-Aarde Estate.

Across the road there is an Engen garage (petrol station). You need to

turn left, onto the R320, the Hemel-en-Aarde Road, away from the coast.

5 km along the road into the Valley, you'll see the entrance to Hamilton Russell Vineyards.

About 300 m further, just before a long, low, whitewashed wall, a lttle tarred road leads right, off the R320.

Take this little road and stay on the tar. Do not turn off onto any dirt

road. About 300 metres further you'll reach the only building, to your

right. This is Earth Cottage.
