By air to Southwest Regional International Airport (RSW) in Ft Myers to Sanibel is approximately 45 minutes and 18 miles. Captiva is an additional 15-20 minutes.The causeway toll is $6 heading to the Island only. Car rental is available at the Airport or on the Island and there are several options for Taxi transportation. Information available on request. A rental car is highly recommended.
