How to get there

Leave Alicante Airport for Murcia, Granada, Almeria on A7. Stay on this motorway until you reach Murcia City.

As you drive through Murcia with the city on your left hand side, you will pass 1 shopping centre, on the right, Nuevo Condomina and the football stadium. Shortly after the yellow Arabic sign follow signs for Granada/Almeria turn right onto the A7 at exit 138. Follow this motorway for approx 30Km.

When you have reached Alhama de Murcia, you will pass a factory called El Pozo on the right hand side, shortly afterwards you will see signs for Bahia Mazarron, Cartagena and Fuente Alamo ( RM2) leave the motorway at exit 601b and follow the motorway for approx 2 km. Turn right at exit 4 signed RM-23 Mazarron, take first exit off roundabout towards Mazarron. Carry on for approx 3km and take exit 5 signed Condado de Alhama.

At roundabout take 3rd exit up the tree-lined road where you will reach the main Condado de Alhama Monument. Go straight across the roundabout and carry on until you reach a roundabout with brown apartment blocks with a security gate to your left. Enter security gate and call our key holder.


Leave airport and follow signs for AP7 Cartagena. Join AP7 at slip road signposted for AP7 Cartagena and travel on AP7 for a short distance (to exit number 790). Leave AP7 at Exit 790 signposted for Torre Pacheco. Keep following signs for Torre Pacheco.

Shortly after the PW Garden Centre, you will come to a roundabout – go straight on (F30 Torre Pacheco). You will immediately see Phase 2 of the Mar Menor Golf Resort on the right and a red hotel with white dots on (Barcelo Torre Pacheco) on the left. At the next roundabout, take the F14 turning, sign-posted for Murcia/Cartagena.

Continue on the F14 and at next roundabout take the second right turn. (Note – the first sign on approach to the roundabout says A30 Murcia/Cartagena but the sign at the turn-off just says El Jimenado. Follow the main F14 road through the village of El Jimenado.

Shortly after you leave the village, you will see a tractor garage on the left and a tall white building on the right. Shortly after the chicken factory, you will reach a major roundabout. Take the second exit, signposted RM2/A7 Alhama de Murcia and Andalucia.

Travel on the RM2 for approximately 30 km. Look out for sign for RM23 Mazarron/MU603 El Palmar – take this exit. Go right round the roundabout to the last exit (3rd exit) which is signposted RM23 Mazarron. Turn right right at exit number 5 signposted for Condado de Alhama. Go right round the roundabout, take fourth exit up the palm tree lined boulevard into Condado de Alhama.

Go straight across the roundabout and carry on until you reach a roundabout with brown apartments blocks and a security gate to your left. Enter security gate and call our key holder.

Getting around

The regional capital, Murcia, is known as the Baroque capital of Spain for its wealth of fine buildings and is a fantastic place to explore. It is a shopping heaven with many up market shops and department stores. You can wander through the pedestrianised areas to beautiful squares. There is a magnificent cathedral, a beautiful monastery, gardens and parks. The holy city of Caravaca de la Cruz is one of the Worlds 5 holy cities (including Jerusalem and Rome). It is dominated by a fortress on a hill which now guards the large church at its centre.Totana, Lorca and Cartagena are all excellent places to explore with shopping, wonderful architecture, markets and fantastic fiestas.
