How to get there
Cortona is readily accessible by train (hourly service from Florenze and 2 hourly service from Rome) and by car along the autostrada/toll road (3 hours from Rome and 1 hour 30 from Florence). Pisa and Rome Fiumicino airports are connected by rail and are served by most of the main airlines. Perugia (irregular services) and Rome Ciampino are served by Ryanair.
Guests are recommended to hire their car when booking their flights, since local rates do not compare favourably and the only multi national car hire firm with a Cortona/Camucia office is Sixt.
We produce tailored directions for you, taking into account your mode of transport and starting point in Italy, including a supermarket detour in Camucia. Once at Cortona, these tailor made directions will bring you into the hills (a further 25 minutes) where we will be waiting to welcome you.
