How to get there
Our house is very close to the Luis Munoz Marin International Airport. A taxi ride should be around $20 and it should take no more that 10mn, depending on traffic. Just give our address to the driver. Don't say you are going to La Casa Blanca as there is a hotel under the same name in Old San Juan & will only create confusion.
If you rent a car at the airport or nearby is very easy to find your way here. In that case, the entrance to the neighborhood is from Cacique street on the east side of Parque Barbosa (all other streets leading to ours are closed by gates). Go into Cacique and turn right on Teniente Matta. Drive to the end of the street & park wherever you find a free spot without blocking any driveways. Our house is #63

Getting around
Main streets and highway are easily accessible and the area is served by public transportation. Nearest bus stop is in front of the supermarket just around the corner. Take T5 & D53 to/from airport, Isla Verde, Condado & Old San Juan. We strongly suggest in renting a car as it is the easiest way to move around, specially if you plan on doing daytrips outside the metro area. Charlie & Target car rental are both locally own. Otherwise, all major companies have offices at the airport. Online booking gets the best deals.
