Essaouira is two and a half hours drive from Marrakech airport, or three hours from Agadir airport. A limited number of flights also come into Essaouira airport, which is just 25 minutes drive from the house.

We have a longstanding relationship with a taxi company who offer a very reliable service at a reasonable cost. They can provide cars of different sizes from any of the airports.

It is also possible to get from Marrakech and Agadir to Essaouira by bus; the buses are relatively modern and good quality. The journey from Marrakech takes about three hours. The buses go to and from the train station in Marrakech and just outside the medina in Essaouira. Our caretaker will meet you at the bus stop if you arrive that way. There is no train station in Essaouira.

Cars can be hired from Marrakech (e.g. the airport) or Essaouira new town. The medina around the house is pedestrianised, therefore there is no parking directly by the house but there is a large secure car park just a 10 minute walk down by the beach that many of our guests use. Our caretaker will be able to give you directions to the carpark on your arrival and will meet you there to welcome you and show you to the house.
