How to get there
For walkers and cyclists we could arrange a pickup and dropoff at Hexham Railway Station at the beginning and end of your stay.
There is a regular bus service from Hexham to Catton and further up the valley to Allenheads. This runs 5 or 6 times a day. (please check online time table)

Getting around
There is a regular bus service running from Catton Allendale and Allenheads further up the valley. The service also runs between Catton and Hexham where there are a bus station and train station with services to Newcastle and Carlisle.
