How to get there
Malaga airport is only about 25 minutes drive from the villa and you can either hire a car from the airport, get a taxi from the public taxi rank outside the airport, catch a train and then a bus or there are plenty of local transfer companies who you can book to collect you directly from inside the arrivals hall.
You can hire a car locally for a few days sightseeing if desired and secure parking is available in our private garage.

Getting around
Many of our guests do not hire a car during their stay in El Faro as we have a very good selection of restaurants and several small supermarkets all within easy walking distance of our villa. If you do wish to explore further afield, there is a very good bus service that runs along the coast in both directions every 30 minutes, taking you to Fuengirola, La Cala and Marbella, trains from Fuengirola to Malaga are excellent, taxis are plentiful and extremely reasonable and you can even book a day out by coach to further destinations such as Ronda or Gibraltar.
