How to get there
Dundream is accessible from the South via A75 coming across from the M74, from the North via A77 south, from Ireland via Stena Line and P & O ferries into Cairnryan. Prestwick airport is 60 miles and Glasgow 100 miles away. Prestwick airport is on the Glasgow to Stranraer train route.
Driving into Stranraer from the south via A75/London Road head towards Bowling Green Road take the second right onto Stair Drive (signs for Kirkcolm/A718).
Continue to follow A717 then left on to Cairnryan Road (which joins traffic coming north from A77). Continue to follow A717 signs.
Go through one roundabout passing Tesco on the right and on corner on left at pedestrian corner is Scottish Tourist Board office.
At the next roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Market St/A717.
Continue on Market St with Waterfront Marina on the right on to Agnew Crescent A718 then Sheuchan St and Leswalt High Road.
Continue to follow A718 out of Stranraer with Creachmore Golf Course on the right. At the roundabout take the 3rd exit for Kirkcolm A718 passing Soleburn Garden Centre on the left with the shores of Loch Ryan on the right.
Continue along shore road passing Wig Bay yachting centre and on to Kirkcolm.
Travelling through the Main St/B738 in Kirkcolm with the Blue Peter Hotel on the right. Continue to follow B738/Corsewall Lighthouse road for two miles.
Keep following B738 for Corsewall Lighthouse. At the top of the hill turn right at High Ardwell cottages road end.
Travel 150m down road road and on right is a metal gate with Dundream sign.
Open and close gate driving up private road for 350m where Dundream awaits you!
