How to get to the Villa by car:

From South (from Rome for example):

Highway A1 until AREZZO, then take the direction BIBBIENA and CASENTINO; follow the upper Arno valley on Umbro-Casentinese state route SS71, which passes through all the major Casentino towns: Subbiano, Rassina and Bibbiena.
Here you turn off onto the road for Chiusi della Verna and after 6 km you’ll see on the left a small street to arrive after 400 meters to the VILLA DI CATARSENA

From North (Florence)

Highway A1 until the exit Florence Sud, and then take the direction to Pontassieve and Rosano, where you join state route SS70 going to the Passo della Consuma (Consuma pass). Once over the pass, you descend to the upper Casentino valley, passing through Scarpaccia and Borgo alla Collina. Continue to Ponte a Poppi and Bibbiena.
Here you turn off onto the road for Chiusi della Verna and after 6 km you’ll see on the left a small street to arrive after 400 meters to the VILLA DI CATARSENA
