How to get there
Most tourists coming to Gili Trawangan are from Bali using fast boats which take about two hours journey time. Guests may also visit Gili Trawangan via Lombok International Airport which takes about 3-4 hours journey including 2-3 hours by taxi a Lombok harbor near Gili and 15-45 minutes boat ride from the Lombok harbor to Gili Trawangan.
From the Gili Harbor, head south until you see Buddha Dive, with its giant smiling Buddha statue and turn right. Go straight until you see the third intersection and then turn left. Ambary House is located on Bulu Babi Street on the left hand side.

Getting around
There is no motorised transport on Gili Trawangan. You may ride a bike, take a walk or a horse cart. These are the main means of transport. It is such a tiny island, you may circle in by bike in less than two hours.
