How to get there
Phuket International Airport is 45 mins north of Phuket Town, and the more populated areas such as Patong / Rawai / Nai Harn.
Getting to Phuket International is now not such a problem, as many carriers now fly in to Phuket, some through Bangkok (a 50 min connection), and others listed here:
From Bangkok, taking a flight down to Phuket is definitely the most convenient way when it only takes less than one hour. There are several domestic flights operating daily and directly from Bangkok to Phuket International Airport – both regular price (bit high) and low cost, also depending on seasons (low or high). We recommend you to compare the price between airlines for the best deal. Typically, you can expect to pay less than $100 USD each way, budget airlines sometimes much cheaper. We recomend you avoid riding the motorcycles in Phuket, and rent a car for your own safety. We can also provide car rental starting from THB 800/day low-season, THB1000/day high-season, and / or airport transfer starting from THB1000 each way, or mini-bus at THB1200 each way.
