How to get there
Kingairloch is located on the Morvern Peninsula, a beautiful area on the West Coast of Scotland which borders the Ardnamurchan Peninsula. From either of these major airports; Glasgow (107 miles), Edinburgh (133 miles) and Inverness Airport (98 miles) it is an approximate three hour scenic drive to Kingairloch. There is no public transport to Kingairloch, so guests are advised to travel by car.
Head towards Fort William, to the south west of this town take The Corran Ferry. This is a short ferry crossing that operates all year round from dawn until dusk. After the crossing turn left onto the A861 for 7 miles, then take the left turn signposted to Kingairloch. Please note that this is a single track road with passing places, enjoy the views but if you meet traffic be prepared to reverse to use the passing places. Take this single track road for 8 miles, you will then be in Kingairloch.
Once on the estate follow the road around the bay and go up the hill behind the row of houses that include Kingairloch Church. At the top of the hill bear to the left and you will be heading into the main part of the estate. Continue along the side of the Loch for about half a mile, then on your left you will see The Boathouse Restaurant. During the Summer months guests meet here to collect their keys, in the Winter months other arrangements will be made.
