Local Transportation Buses and taxis are readily available in the Manuel Antonio area, however, the Spanish/ English language barrier is not for everyone. Most of our guests choose to rent a vehicle. This also allows for more freedom of movement and the ability to travel fluidly with no delays. You do not need an international drivers license, your US, Canadian or European license and your passport is all that is required. All the major US rental agencies have offices in Costa Rica both near the San Jose airport and in the Manuel Antonio area. If you need a taxi or any other transportation please contact your concierge.
