How to get there

Moelfre is easy to access, off the main A5025 road which runs between J8 of the A55 (the one after the end of the Britannia Bridge) and Amlwch in the north around to Valley in the west. Just 10 miles into the island from the Britannia Bridge, car directions can be found here.

Alternatively, on arrival by train to Bangor station, get the No.62 bus from the same station (bus/train combined) which runs every 30mins in the day, arriving just 50m from White Pebble Cottage in Moelfre in just 35mins.

• After travelling over the Britannia Bridge on the A55, take the 1st exit after the end of the bridge (J8) and turn right onto the A5025 towards Benllech/Amlwch.
• Continue on the A5025 for 9.9 miles going through Pentraeth and Benllech along the way.
• This will lead you to Moelfre roundabout (unmistakeable with a large anchor in the centre) where you take the 3rd exit onto the A5108 (Ffordd Cocsyn Richard Evans) into Moelfre.
• Continue on for 0.6mile and just before the Coastal Cafe on your left, turn left onto the private track and Gwel yr Afon is on your right hand side.
• Our designated parking spot is the 2nd from the left and is denoted by a No. '2' on the space
• White Pebble Cottage is the 2nd house along and is denoted by a slate name plaque
