How to get there

If you want to take a taxi from Schiphol airport to us you can make a reservation with a very reliable taxi company who have a fixed rate of 45 euro to our house. The number is +31 6 12 11 71 16, Schiphol Taxi (Marc) and you have to contact them a day in advance. If you prefer to get a taxi at the airport it will cost you around 60,- euros.

If you prefer to travel with public transport you can walk to the train station at the airport. Take a train that stops at 'Station Duivendrecht'. On arrival walk outside to the busstation and take bus 41 direction 'Muiderpoortstation' and depart at stop: 'Hogeweg'. From there you can walk to our house.

If you arrive at 'Amsterdam Central Station' take either metro 54 direction 'Gein', or metro 51 direction 'Westwijk' or metro 53 direction 'Gaasperplas' and depart at stop 'Weesperplein'. Walk outside to the tramstop and take tram 19 direction 'Diemen Sniep' to stop 'Hogeweg'. From there you can walk to our house.

If you arrive by car: parking is paid in Amsterdam and a day-ticket (form 9am - 9pm) in our neighbourhood is 23,50 euro. Sundays are free. Also a dayticket might not be usefull for the day you arrive, there is a machine on the corner of the street where you also can buy tickets per hour (3,- p/h).

Park & Ride (P+R) is the cheapest way to park your car. These car parks are located on the outskirts of the city near motorways and have excellent public transport connections.
