How to get there
The closest airport is Geneva
It is about a 9 hour drive from Calais - motorways the whole way to the valley which makes the drive pretty straight forward.
We overnight in Reims (plenty of hotel options and a few hours from Calais) when we drive to Chamonix from the UK but we have also done the drive straight through.

Getting around
The Chalet is close to the bus stop & train stop for easy access around the Chamonix valley. We can also provide guest cards so you can use the local public transport for free!
