How to get there

As with the rest of America getting around Florida is best done by car but if you're relying on Orlando's transportation for your trip, you can still get by pretty well.

If you're travelling with a group of four or five people, taxis may be an economic and faster alternative to shuttles.

Fun way to get around International Drive

Even without a rental car, you can easily get from our condo to the major attractions. The LYNX buses have a bus stop right outside Vista Cay's main entrance - that's about 100 yards from our condo. The I-Ride Trolley that goes up and down International Drive all day, has a stop just under 1 mile from Vista Cay. This can either be reached by walking or you can take the LYNX route 58 directly from Vista Cay.

There are three bus stops that are relevant:

- Vista Cay's main entrance - LYNX route 58 stops here. This is located 100 yards from our condo.

- Orange County Convention Center (OCCC): I-Ride stop 28 is located here as well as LYNX routes 8, 38, 42 and 58. This is less than a mile from Vista Cay's West entrance.

- Canadian Court Road: LYNX 58 & 111 stops here. Route 111 takes you to Magic Kingdom in just over 30 minutes.

Leaving in the morning:

You could walk to the Canadian Court Road or OCCC or you can take Lynx Route 58 but the bus stop is on the other side of Universal Blvd. You have to cross this road with three lanes in each direction. Currently there are no traffic lights here. It would be more convenient to walk. Tradeshow Blvd. is a non-busy, one- lane road.

Getting back to Vista Cay:

If you switch to bus 58 at either OCCC or Canadian Court Road, you exit on the “right” side of Universal Blvd. You do not have to cross Universal Blvd. to get to the condo.
