The best way to get around is by car, and it's recommended to rent a GPS if you are unfamiliar with the area. You can rent a car either at the International Airport of Guarulhos if you're coming from abroad, or you can decide to come down to Guaruja by taxi and rent a car locally. Either is possible but recommend to reserve well in advance! Taxis are also available locally, but public transport is very limited and (certainly in the peak season) not advisable. The apartment has 2 dedicated parking spots so a bringing car is not a problem and the parking is secure.
