How to get there
Flights to the Isle of Lewis are on a daily basis from Glasgow, Edinburgh and Inverness. The island is serviced by Caledonian MacBrayne ferries from Ullapool and from Uig in Skye.Train Station in Inverness then bus from Inverness Bus Station which links up with ferry times from Ullapool. Car hire is possible from Stornoway Airport and by contacting local car hire firms in Stornoway. If you come without a car and you need delivered to the cottage from the airport we can set that up for you - at no extra charge.

Getting around
Great inter -island bus service but a car is quite a bonus. You can hire bikes in Stornoway and it would be poss to come to the cottage and not bring a car. Walking and use of bike is very possible.
