How to get there
By Car - When arriving in Edinburgh head to 3 Dean Park Crescent Edinburgh EH4 1PN. I will forward details of parking options.
Your best plan is to arrive, unpack, then park your car in a free space for the duration of your stay and use our excellent bus services, or enjoy walking around Edinburgh.
By Plane - The easiest method is to grab a taxi which is more cost effective than paying the individual fares on the airport bus or tram and you can pre-order a people carrier if required. If you catch a standard black cab the fare will be c £20 each way.
Guests can also take the Airport Link bus (Service 100) at Stance 19. You get off at the West End stop and you can walk to the Upper Villa from there. Fares are £4 single and £7 return.
Our new tram service is operational as of 31/5/2014 so you can catch a tram from the airport to West End of Princes St and either walk to the Upper Villa or if you have lots of bags grab a taxi outside the Caledonian Hotel or Frasers Department Store which are both at the end of Queensferry Street. Fares from the airport are £5 single and £8 return.
By Train – if arriving during the day you can pick up a 29 bus on Princes Street just outside Waverley Station.Fare is £1.50 – exact money required. Take the bus to Raeburn Place and walk up Dean Park Street. 3 Dean Park Crescent is at the top of Dean Park Street to the left. Taxis are available outside the station – just follow the signs.
