To get from the ancient walls of centre of Montepulciano to Fattoria San Martino you must walk 500 mt. "white road" where it passes by the edge of the town in an agricultural area, with vineyards, olive groves, wheat and sunflowers, on top of a hill stands the villa della Fattoria San Martino. Many of our guests (and we!) argue that this location is very accessible and beautiful to be on foot. Others, however, prefer to take the car and Park close to the Centre of this beautiful city. The choice is yours!

From the Windows of the rooms you can enjoy a view over the city of Montepulciano, perched on the crest of a hill, with its ancient palaces and churches, while the other side views over the Chiana Valley with Lakes of Montepulciano and Trasimeno and the Umbrian Apennines. Arriving from Nord/Firenze in Florence take Highway A1 direction Roma, exit Valdichiana/Bettolle, take left towards Torrita, Montepulciano.

In Montepulciano you will arrive at piazza Sant'Agnese semaphore (is the only) turn around the roundabout at the second street on the left past the Church, the road descends in front of the Conad supermarket (after 60 meters). Immediately after the Conad, take the first road to the right, towards the bus station, go to the roundabout, turn left (only way left downhill) and go down until you reach the tennis courts on your left, just past the tennis courts turn left (signpost San Martino and gym Gym Top, follow the road (which becomes unpaved) for 600 meters until a large secular Cypress that frames the entrance to the farm.

Coming from the South/Rome take the A1 motorway towards Florence, exit at Chiusi, turn right and immediately left towards Chianciano-Montepulciano.

When you arrive at the crossroad near Montepulciano, turn right in the direction of Torrita di Siena, Siena follow the tree-lined Avenue past a brick bridge and then to your right you will find the Star and Coffee after a Evergreen hedge at the end of which turn to your right into a one-way downhill until a small roundabout turn right (not the bus square) down the tennis courts will turn to your left (sign the farm san Martino) follow the dirt road for 600 meters until a large secular Cypress indicating the entrance of the farm.
