How to get there
The easiest way to get to the lodges is by car - we are about 15 minutes from the Stanway, Colchester exit off the A12.
You could also come by train - there are stations nearby in Colchester and Marks Tey, not to mention a small station in Chappel/Wakes Colne itself. Local taxis will take you the mile and a half to the Lodges.

Getting around
It is recommended that you have a car when staying at the lodge. However, there is a bus service that runs regularly into Colchester or Halstead from the main road (A1124). There is also a railway station in the village which runs a service between Sudbury and Marks Tey.
