How to get there
ROAD: From M5 at Exeter follow the A30 Okehampton, Bodmin and Truro. Follow the A30 until the end of Hayle Bypass then turn right for St Ives. Proceed through Lelant. Entering Carbis Bay, turn right onto Porthrepta Road signposted Carbis Bay beach. ‘Hawkes Point’ at ‘The Sands’ is 70 yards after the church on the left hand side.
