How to get there
From London to Charmouth, the best route is down the M3 towards Southampton then the M27 and A31 through the New Forest to Ringwood, then the A35 through Dorchester to Bridport. The journey shouldn't take longer than 3 hours.
From the east, follow the A35 from Bridport towards Honiton. Pass through the villages of Chideock, Morcombelake and after two miles take the left turn towards Charmouth. After 500 yards, follow the road around the righthand bend into The Street. Go through the village centre, passing the George Pub on your right. Fountains Mead is approximately 50 yards past the Royal Oak pub on your left.
From the west, follow the A35 from Honiton towards Bridport and Dorchester. Approximately 1 mile after seeing a right turn to Lyme Regis you will arrive at a roundabout. Take the second exit to Charmouth. Follow the road for about 500 yards and Fountains Mead is immediately after the turn into Higher Sea Lane on your right.
