Caleta main town and the beach are about a 15 -20 minute walk away. A 10 minute walk halfway down the mountain and you will find the Supermarket and a selection of Restaurants and Bars. Taxis are a cheap way to get around and the airport is only a 15minute drive away. Car hire is available at the airport and also in the Caleta town centre. You can park directly in front of the large gate. Please note that if you do not enjoy walking then we would suggest you hire a car for your stay. You can hire one starting from around €33 Euros a day. There is a public bus service every half hour at the bottom of the mountain that connects the town with the capital of the island. On Tuesdays and Saturday mornings there is a local market too.
