How to get there
We will send you Directions with photos of how to find us from Skye Bridge after booking. It is about 40 minutes drive.
There is Kyle Of Lochalsh train station with good connections from Inverness Train station.
You can fly to Inverness or Glasgow Airports and get a hire car there; the journey is very scenic and through some beautiful countryside.

Getting around
It is possible to explore Skye without your own transport but buses here are infrequent (one a day) and taxis are few and far between especially in the summer. You would need to plan ahead carefully. Covid-19 has made this even more essential. By Bus Number 6100 Leaves outside the post office (just 5 mins walk from our place) at 8.10am to Sligachan then Portree arriving 8.45am. You can then get other buses around the island. Back 3.25pm from Portree arriving Struan 4.10pm then bus goes up to Dunvegan.
