How to get there
CAR: Sans, Souci. is 'idyllically rural', so most people will come by car and will want to explore locally by car. That's not to exclude walking and cycling, where the southern Lincolnshire Wolds are well-suited, offering quite lanes, trails and public rights of way. We are just off the A158 Lincoln to Horncastle road, near, not in, the village of Minting.
TRAIN: nearest stations are LINCOLN and METHERINGHAM. The latter is on the Lincoln to Peterborough branch line. Taxis are available for onward journey. The owners can offer station 'meet and greet' at a negotiable 'at-cost' rate, so do please ask if this fits in with your travel plans.
BUS: there is a bus route at the end of the lane, into Lincoln, Horncastle and further afield.
BICYCLE: cyclists are always very welcome. There's good, generally level cycling in the area on 'quiet lanes' and some local trails. Bikes can be parked securely and we offer a 'bike rescue' service in case of emergencies.

Getting around
A car is recommended when staying at Sans, Souci. since it is in a very rural situation, the very reason why most people come to stay with us. The nearest stations are at Lincoln or Metheringham. There is a bus stop at the end of the lane, affording trips into Lincoln, Horncastle and beyond. Cycling is of course very pleasant and relatively safe in the southern part of the Lincolnshire Wolds, using 'quiet lanes' and some trails. National Cycle Route Network Route 1 lies only a few km to the southwest of Minting.
