The coastal train is an experience in itself and is a great way to explore nearby resorts without having to battle to find a parking space. You’ll find all the shops, restaurants and amenities you could need within easy walking distance of the house. Coryton Cove is probably a 15/20 minute walk and the train station no more than 10 minutes. Parking in Dawlish itself can be tight and it’s sometimes hard to park right outside our house, but you’ll always find a space, even if it’s a few roads away and no one minds you blocking the road to unload.
