How to get there

About 10 minutes off the A1 by Alnwick, so really easy road access.

Local bus service.

Alnmouth is the nearest train station, just 3 hours 30 minutes direct train from London Kings Cross, then taxi to Craster. Or picking another guest up from the train, it is just a 12 minute drive to the station.

Two off road parking spaces right next to the house. There is also a public car park just around the corner, with electric charging points.

Getting around

You can walk straight onto the coastal path right from the house and cover many miles if you wish. Head up to Newton across the vast expanse below f sandy Embleton Bay and sand dunes and eat at The Joiners pub, and catch the local bus back. Or head south path the Victorian bathing house to beautiful Howick Hall, stop for tea in the lovely cafe and walk back through the ancient woods and grassy fields to your home from home in Craster. Cycle routes are in abundance in this area too. If you have a car you can venture further afield to Ford and Etal, Berwick, Bamburgh, the list of day trip destinations is endless!
