How to get there
The Tudors is easily reached by motorway and then dual carriageway to within 5 miles of the house. The M5 will take you to Exeter and then the A380 brings you into Torquay. Follow the signs to the Seafront and once there follow the promenade round towards the harbour until you get to the clock tower roundabout just after Debenhams on the left. Take the first turning off the roundabout up Torwood street and then right at the traffic lights (by Sim a Spice) onto Meadfoot Road. Follow the road up the hill and the Tudors is 150m on the right side, it is best to drive past and then make a U turn at the Linscombe Hotel turn off to allow an easier access up the drive.
Torquay is also well served by rail. Newton Abbott main line station has high speed links to the rest of the country only 12km away. The branch line service to Torbay runs regularly and Torquay station is just off the Sea front by the Grand Hotel, about 25 minutes walk from The Tudors.
Bristol airport is approximately 2 hours drive from the house and it has an expanding range of services including direct flights to Europe and the USA (http://www.bristolairport.co.uk/flight-information/destinations.aspx). Exeter airport is closer with services to other parts of Britain and many international locations (http://www.exeter-airport.co.uk/all-destinations)
